Why Horses?​
Partnering with horses offers a powerful and profound, yet gentle,
experiential journey of self-discovery, understanding, healing
and personal growth.

Horses communicate through body language and behaviour. They see through our "masks" to our authentic self. Horses assist us to: heal trauma; gain self-awareness, insight, balance, purpose, positive life change; break free of unhealthy behaviour patterns; learn new skills; identify and enhance our personal strengths; conquer challenges and limitations;
and so much more.

Horses provide us with instant feedback, without judgment, ego, or attachment to outcomes. What we experience, discover and learn
with our horse partners integrates into our every day life activities.

Our SWR Team provides engaging and life-changing therapy and/or
non-therapy based learning, healing and growth opportunities.
All sessions and programs are customized to address the goals and
needs of the individual, group, organization or business.

The peaceful and private oasis of Spirit's Whisper Ranch,
is nestled in nature and is home to our herd family of horses.
​Our year-round facility includes welcoming indoor and outdoor settings.

Horse-Guided-Psychotherapy (HGP)
HGP sessions address a client's treatment goals,
and include a collaborative team of: client, horse partner(s),
licensed mental health professional and horse professional.
This form of therapy supports emotional, physical and psychological
well-being through participation in experiential activities with horses.
Horses are known for their sensitivity to human emotions. They provide a non-judgmental environment which fosters trust and encourages
clients to explore their emotions and behaviours.
New perspectives can quietly transform lives.​​​​
Experiences are done from the ground in a controlled setting.
No previous horse experience is required.

Horse-Guided-Learning (HGL)
Our non-therapy facilitated HGL experiences invite individual and group participants to see, understand and appreciate themselves in new ways.
Horses help identify and highlight our talents and skills,
while supporting us in problem-solving difficulties.
Participants can learn new skills (life~social~communication~leadership)
and generate improvement and forward growth,
while learning about and interacting with horses. ​​​
Experiences are done from the ground in a controlled setting.
No previous horse experience is required.

NO is an advanced neurotechnology designed to train our brain to function at peak performance levels. This innovative form of neurofeedback
is not a medical treatment, but rather a training for our brain.
EVERY brain can benefit and tap into its own unique optimal state.

​SWR is the only facility to offer a "NO & Herd Combo" experience:
with a NO brain training session and herd integration time: (1.5hrs)​
